Midsummer Report

Although the fish aren't as hungry as they've been in the past, it's still nice being on the water. I don't miss the commercial fishing boats bobbing on the horizon just on the boundary waters of Angoon either though so slow fishing is a blessing as well.
It's been smooth enough to go across Chatham Strait to the shores of neighboring islands and motor to Sitka as well. This summer has been especially nice since we have gotten to visit with old friends, making new memories.
Overall this summer has been nice; the weather, the travel, the visiting, the fishing, everything.
