Where We Are Now

Fall 2008: Angoon Trading along with Admiralty Research and Development, Angoon's only local nonprofit, were finalist in the 2008 Alaska Marketplace competition. We were happy to be given the opportunity to share innovative ideas with other Alaskans.
Angoon Trading presented a wind energy project called Project Winergy. ATC is reserching ways to integrate renewable energy sources as a way to reduce dependence on diesel energy.

Admiralty Research and Development presented Recycled Production a recycling program focusing on turning recyclables into products while creating green jobs in Angoon.

Where We Were 1 Year Ago

Fall 2007: We first launched our website. It featured a list of products and services we provide and community projects.

Spring 2008: Hosted along with Admiralty Research and Development Angoon's 3rd Annual King Salmon Derby. The derby winner, Eli Jamestown, reeled in a whopper of a king salmon weighing in at 59.6 pounds. The top winners received prizes donated by Sealaska, Tlingit and Haida Central Council and Angoon Oil and Gas. We have had the good fortune of working with repeat donors and look forward to working with repeat as well as first time donors. For a complete list of winners and prizes see below.
