Spring has sprung

The herring egg snows have some and gone and the boats were launched to Sitka so the men could collect as many herring eggs as possible. Herring egg salad for all.

Soon the spring kings will be running, boats will appear on the water, sparse at first, but multiply with the run. Let's hope this year's run comes sooner than last year.

Angoon comes to life in the spring. The winter melts away giving passage to spring showers and blue skies. Water, boats and fish are what's to come.
